Frequently Asked Questions

We provide answers to some of the most common questions we receive from our clients. If you don't find the answer you're looking for, please don't hesitate to contact us directly for more information
Q.
What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
A.
We provide transparent pricing and our price will not deviate unless you request additional work to be done after the project has begun. (At which time your bid will be updated and sent to you).
Q.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
A.
The first step is scheduling the estimate. Next, we begin by having a detailed conversation about how you envision your tile installation. Then we take dimensions and discuss the project scope. We then schedule the project after understanding what roles each party will be responsible for. We will email you our estimate, and give you a list of materials to purchase (tile and Schluter profiles, bullnose, tile pencils, trim). We will purchase the proper materials (thinset, backerboard, caulk, grout, uncoupling membrane, waterproofing membrane, curb and shower pan, etc). When the estimate is approved, we demolish and dispose existing tile, tub, fiberglass, cultured marble, and floors. Next, we perform all required prep work for tile or flooring installation. Then we install the tile or flooring. Lastly, we clean the job site. You will be invoiced upon completion. Acceptable forms of payment are cash, check, Venmo, or wire transfer.
Q.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
A.
Thorough understanding of ANSI requirements and TCNA, NTCA guidelines. Training in several methods of shower pan installation. Training in multiple water proofing methods including Schluter Systems.
Q.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
A.
Even after some success in the corporate world, I found that I enjoy creating masterpieces with my own hands that can last a lifetime. We as a company appreciate that we have the ability to take care of our clientele as we would our own family, whereas with other careers we would have little to no contact with customers.
Q.
What types of customers have you worked with?
A.
Verify contractor has the proper licensing, that their license is active and that they hold insurance. Conduct a well thought out interview with the professional you are considering. The majority of questions should be answered with confidence and accuracy. Also, consider pricing tile yourselves to avoid markups used by large companies for profit. You could end up saving money for materials.
Q.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
A.
We have been lucky to work with customers from varying backgrounds. We enjoy delivering clients impressive work at a value. Nothing brings us more happiness than meeting clients needs when they were originally apprehensive about hiring a contractor.
Q.
What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?
A.
Is the business you are considering experienced, able to communicate, and punctual? Do they carry the proper licensing and insurance required by law to carry out the job you need done?
We strive to deliver value and quality to each and every project we acquire. We aim to complete each installation beyond our clients expectations.
